Kenai River Excursions

Ride a "sweep boat. Drift through the middle section of the Kenai River on the boat that won the West and transported the gold miners into Alaska during the heyday of Soapy Smith and Robert Service.

This will be a great adventure that will stay forever as a part of your memories of Alaska. Our trip will start where the Moose River enters the Kenai River. As we drift through Native Country you may see Eagles in their nests as well as Arctic Terns, and a variety of other birds. Local flora and fauna could also include black or brown bear as well as mama moose and their new calves.

You will also drift past guided and unguided fishermen as they chase after the mighty Kenai Kings. Pass through Morgan's Landing which has the largest spawning reds of the Giant Kenai King Salmon. There will be many photo ops as you float this quiet section of the famous Kenai River.
